Building Momentum at Datawise. Subscribe below to track our progress 🚀
As we begin to close out the year, I’m thrilled to share key updates on our progress at Datawise. We’ve made significant progress across product development, outreach, and brand-building initiatives. Here’s what we’ve accomplished:
1. Expanding the Team
We’ve added a talented Product Designer to the Datawise team! Their expertise is helping shape our brand identity and dashboard design, ensuring our platform offers a seamless and visually compelling user experience.
2. Launching the Data Insights Podcast
To better understand the challenges faced by data professionals and showcase the value Datawise can deliver, we’ve started the Data Insights Podcast. This initiative allows us to engage directly with our target audience while building thought leadership in the data space.
We’ve interviewed 4 data professionals so far, with 1 episode released to positive feedback.
The podcast provides a platform for our audience to share their experiences and highlights the problems Datawise is designed to solve.
Below is our podcast episode, featuring Suhita Goswami, Cloud Engineer at Google in New York. In this episode, Suhita shared her invaluable expertise and experiences, covering:
Her path to Cloud Engineering
Transformations in Data Management
Insights on Data Governance
Advice for AI-Powered Startups
Collaboration Best Practices
Tips for Aspiring Cloud Engineers
3. Gaining VC Interest
Momentum is building in our fundraising efforts:
3 VCs have expressed interest in Datawise.
These include 2 inbound inquiries and 1 outbound pitch.
Our initial conversations are promising, and we’re working to convert this interest into concrete investment opportunities.
4. First Prototype Demo
Our first prototype is live! This milestone allows us to demonstrate the core features of Datawise to both potential users and investors. Initial feedback has been constructive and highlights the market potential of our platform.
Here’s a link to try out the demo: Datawise Prototype
For the Ask AI feature, you can use the following prompts to understand how it works:
“Show me datasets updated last month”
“How many columns have PII data?”
“Show lineage of sales dataset”
Below is an example of the lineage flow:
5. Backend Development and Snowflake Integration
Our engineering efforts are progressing rapidly:
We’ve started work on backend development, focusing on a robust foundation for scalability.
Integration with Snowflake into our metadata management layer is underway, setting the stage for comprehensive data cataloging and governance capabilities.
Looking Ahead
As we prepare for the next phase, we are doubling down on product development, building strong user relationships, and continuing our fundraising efforts. Our focus remains on delivering a transformative DataOps platform that meets the evolving needs of data-driven teams.
Thank you for your ongoing support and belief in Datawise. I look forward to sharing more updates as we progress!
